ต้นทุนขาย คือ (Cost of Goods Sold)
ต้นทุนขาย หมายถึง ต้นทุนที่ใช้จ่ายเพื่อให้ได้มาซึ่งสินค้านั้น หากว่าบริษัทหรือผู้ขายเป็นผู้ผลิตสินค้านั้นเอง ต้นทุนขายจะเป็นการรวมไปถึงค่าใช้จ่ายที่ใช้ในการผลิตสินค้านั้นด้วย ไม่ว่าจะเป็นค่าแรง ค่าต้นทุนวัตถุดิบ และค่าใช้จ่ายอื่น ๆ ที่ต้องใช้ในการผลิตสินค้าโดยตรง แต่หากเป็นกรณีที่ไม่ได้เป็นผู้ผลิตเอง ต้นทุนขาย มักจะเป็นราคาต้นทุนที่มาจากการจ่ายไปเพื่อให้ได้สินค้านั้นมาขาย โดยตัวต้นทุนขายจะปรากฏอยู่บนงบกำไรขาดทุนของบริษัท
